Job Title – Bid Co-Ordinator (Open to Admin/Customer service/Sales support)
Office based role – Skelmersdale

Our client is seeking a bid co-ordinator to join the team. This role will be supporting the Head of Sales and commercial team with the growth of existing and new customer relationships across their food industry clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update the pipeline with new leads and opportunities
• Manage and review the internal CRM to ensure accurate and up to date information for reporting and performance tracking
• Consistently check the required portals and avenues for inbound live tender opportunities
• Oversee the downloading of documents, clarification process, uploading of documents and submission
• Completion of the Selection Questionnaire (SQ), including additional documentation and policies as required
• Assist and support with the completion of Invitation to Tenders (ITTs), collating relevant information and responses from required sources to create a comprehensive submission
• Maintain and develop the Sales Drive and Bid library to ensure the quality and effectiveness of future submissions
• Work closely with the Sales Director and Business Development Managers to effectively review new opportunities and proposals within the bid/no bid process
• Manage the sales inbox effectively, responding in a timely and professional manner, notifying the appropriate people of important correspondence, notifications and appointments/visits

You will have:
• Ideally some Sales Support/Exec or Administration experience within Food Sector or Manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal
• Drive, determination, and a willingness to progress and develop.
• Computer proficient – working with Microsoft Office and writing emails
• Self-motivated individual who is happy to take the initiative
• Can do attitude
