Assistant Management Accountant, South East England

Management Accountant required to join the Financial department of a large and reputable organisation in Bury St Edmunds.
The team consist of entry level transaction roles (e.g. Purchase ledger, Payroll, Credit control) to part-qualified and qualified Management Account roles. Each team has supervisory and managerial roles with a promote-from-within ethos, so for team members there is significant potential of career growth!
The role -
An opportunity has arisen for a part qualified Assistant Management Accountant working within Finance Shared Services.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
Calculate and post accruals and prepayments within the P&L
Post P&L journals and review cost centre driven P&Ls
Preparing reports as required.
Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
Ad-hoc tasks as required by the business and the R2R Team Leader/Senior Manager
Constantly review ways of working and seeking improvements to increase efficiency
Skills & Experience -
Either AAT or degree qualified
Studying towards either CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
Experience in a comparable role would be advantageous
Strong excel skills are essential
