A large chemical/consumer product testing business are looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join the team to support and deliver sales and business development activities including the management of incoming sales enquiries.
Main duties to include:
Respond and administer sales enquiries coming into the business
Where appropriate, turn these sales queries around including the raising of quotations and on- boarding of new customers.
Be an internal resource for the creation of proposals and quotations.
Ensure client project paperwork is returned and completed in a timely manner.
Deliver and support the client / project handover between the sales and operational delivery team.
Provide sales and administration support to the Business Development Manager and wider Sales & Accounts team as required for various aspects of business development.
Liaise with intercompany partners to establish and confirm schedules and test options.
Track all enquiries and key customer data in a timely, efficient and organised manner. Assist in highlighting trends and opportunities.
Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
Provide any necessary data or reports to the sales and management teams.
Support in the development of CRM systems.
Support in the planning and delivery of marketing, exhibition and event activity.
Attend as requested exhibitions and events.
2 years’ experience in customer service role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel & PPT.
Effective communicator both written and oral, be able to communicate to different levels within the business and to gain the confidence of the client.
High level of attention to detail.
Experience of using CRM software systems would be an advantage.
