This position will oversee the southeastern states and will be fully remote. Travel is between 20-30% and experience selling dairy or dairy ingredients is a must
Develop new prospects and accounts, using product knowledge to sell products to regional, national, and distributor accounts. These accounts will be frozen dessert, dairy, distributor, and / or food service operators. Analyze questions and technical questions and recommend solutions to grow potential sales opportunities through education-based selling.
•Maintain existing customer base of business, exploring all incremental sales opportunities, and ultimately growing the existing customer base in terms of volume.
•Maintain Salesforce.com database with appropriate information regarding account information, projects, status, and current quotations.
•Advise management of strengths and weaknesses of Company products compared to the competition.
•Contact prospective companies and organizations to develop potential sales opportunities from first call to closed sale.
•An ability to grasp clients’ needs and to increase customer engagement.
•Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization without assistance.
•Some travel is required so Account Executive need to live anywhere within the sales territory but must be close to a major airport.
Education and/or Experience
•Proven experience as a sales account executive.
•Extensive hands-on experience with customer service
•Excellent communication and negotiation skills
•Analytical and time-management skills
•Strong creative and organizational skills and abilities.
