Salary: £34,000 - £36,000

Job Type: Hybrid (2 days in the office)

About

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented to support the management of technical and legal information across a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance data is accurate, up to date, and effectively communicated across the business to support informed decision-making. You will also help manage supplier assurance systems, track regulatory changes, and support technical projects and audits.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a technical/compliance function, with exposure to a wide range of systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Keeping track of legislative and technical changes

• Reviewing supplier specifications, checking any legal or retailer compliance

• Maintaining and reviewing supplier documentation

• Conduct gap analysis against legislation, standards, and codes of practice

•  Support updates to the QMS

• Ensuring all technical and legal information is accurately maintained, easily accessible and effectively communicated across all departments

• Using various data sources to collate relevant information and ensure supplier assurance

Experience and Skills

• Competent in using databases and digital quality systems

• Food Science graduate (Desirable)

• Good understanding of food law or willingness to develop knowledge

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
