Process Technologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process Technologist to join a well-established and growing food manufacturer in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in food manufacturing who enjoys taking products from concept through to successful factory launch.

Working closely with NPD, Technical and Operations teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring new products are successfully scaled up and launched to the highest standards of quality, food safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and lead factory trials for new product launches.

• Scale products from kitchen concept through to full factory production.

• Produce detailed trial reports and product documentation.

• Work closely with Technical, Operations and Development teams to ensure successful product launches.

• Coordinate product testing, validations and quality assessments.

• Support first production runs and provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.

• Liaise with customers throughout the product development process where required.

About You

• Previous experience within a Process Technologist or similar role in the food manufacturing industry.

• Good understanding of food safety, quality standards and factory processes.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.

• Confident using Microsoft Office.

• A proactive approach with a passion for delivering high-quality products.
