Junior Quality Manager
Job description
We are looking for an experienced Junior Quality Manager to join our team and lead quality assurance efforts within our food manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet strict quality and food safety standards. You’ll develop and manage quality systems, support audits, and work closely with production and technical teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee quality assurance for raw materials, production processes, and finished goods
Implement and maintain quality control procedures, SOPs, and documentation systems
Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, BRC) and regulatory requirements
Investigate product non-conformances and customer complaints, and perform root cause analysis
Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and audits
Train and support staff on food safety protocols and quality procedures
Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and production processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role within food manufacturing or FMCG
Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
Experience managing audits, documentation, and compliance systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Proficient in Microsoft Office and QA software tools
