Data Engineer

  • 6-Month FTC (Potential to Go Permanent)
  • Hybrid / Remote – with occasional UK site visits
  • £45,000 – £50,000 (pro-rata)

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join a UK leading food manufacturer and play a key role in shaping how data drives smarter commercial decisions.

You’ll be central to rolling out a new Trade Promotion Management (TPM) platform; ensuring data flows seamlessly across systems to power forecasting, ROI analysis, and performance measurement.

Your Responsibilities

  • Building data pipelines across ERP, CRM, POS, and finance systems.
  • Integrating with TPM and planning tools like Salesforce TPM, SAP TPM, o9, and Anaplan.
  • Designing data models for forecasting, accruals, and ROI tracking.
  • Automating workflows with Azure Data Factory, Airflow, or Informatica.
  • Collaborating with analysts and business users to refine and improve data outputs.

Your Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Expertise in Azure (AWS/GCP also considered).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, and modern ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI.
  • Understanding of ERP integrations, APIs, and data quality frameworks.
