National Account Manager

I'm delighted to be partnering with a long-established, market-leading bakery and foodservice business to bring on board a Channel Manager.

This is a business that has been at the heart of the UK's foodservice industry for decades - supplying artisan breads, patisserie and hot food solutions to thousands of sites nationwide. From premium hotel groups and contract caterers to coffee shops, universities and public sector catering - the reach of this business is significant, and this role sits right at the heart of it.

What the role involves:

- A £5m+ national account ledger with full P&L ownership
- Building and executing your own strategic sector plan
- Managing Joint Business Plans with senior buyers, chefs and procurement teams across some of the UK's most recognised hospitality and foodservice operators
- Driving NPD, promotional planning and commercial negotiations that genuinely impact the bottom line
- Working cross-functionally with field sales, telesales and commercial finance to deliver against revenue and margin targets

This is a role for someone who thinks strategically but executes with pace - a genuine National Account Manager who is comfortable owning their numbers and presenting at senior level.

Ideal background:

- National Account Management within food, FMCG or foodservice - particularly if you have experience managing hotel groups, contract caterers, leisure operators or large hospitality accounts. A strong commercial track record and the ability to build long-term customer relationships will be key.
