Business Controller – Global Distribution Organisation
Location: Hybrid (3 days office-based near Warrington / 2 days remote)

We are currently partnering with a global leader in the distribution of industrial and specialty ingredients to recruit a Business Controller to join their finance team based near Warrington.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a well-established international business and play a key role in driving commercial performance, transparency, and strategic insight across the organisation.
The Role:
Reporting into the regional finance team, the Business Controller will be responsible for:
Supporting monthly business performance reporting
Assisting with the divisional budgeting and forecasting process
Providing financial analysis to improve commercial transparency (profitability, credit limits, etc.)
Supporting approval workflows between regional and corporate controlling teams
Producing ad-hoc analysis and situation-specific reports
Monitoring and supporting the use of Controlling systems
Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will have:
Full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) – essential
Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with experience in an industry-based finance role
Proficiency with Microsoft O365, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with SAP and data management (desirable)
Previous experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment is advantageous; experience in the specialty ingredients or related sectors is a plus
Own transport essential due to location of site
